Im Rahmen des Adipositaskongress "European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO)" in Lyon lädt Weight Watchers zum Symposium "Debating the Obesity Paradox" ein:

We are ll triving to meet the challenges of the obesity epidemic, against a backdrop of economic crisis. Governments and healthcares ystems vary widely, yet the paradox is universal.The ritical need for effective obesity prevention and treatment services is growing, but at a rate not affordable to these ystems. Is this a case of ‘if we keep doing what we’re doing, we are going to keep getting what we’ve got?’ Is now the time to challenge traditional medical and payment models to find evidence based solutions that are effective, scalable and realistic in today’s economy?
